Nataly discovered stop-motion animation through the films of Jan Svankmajer, Jiri Barta and the Quay Brothers and was struck by the virtuosity and innovative quality of their work. Inspired by the potential of what seemed like a compelling and magical medium, she went on to make single handedly her 1st stop-motion short, Illuminate, and set up Improbable Dolls to produce it. Following the success of Illuminate - the film showed at film festivals internationally and on Public Access TV in New York City - Nataly directed and animated her first music promo "Head in the Shed" for the band Flux Ache. She is presently researching her next short film.
